Pro Performance Sport recently hosted respected International Coach Stu Robertson from New Zealand at Monash University in Johannesburg to allow aspiring young football players to showcase their talents.
Coach Robertson delivered two coaching sessions over the day scouting approximately 30 players all seeking opportunities through Pro Performance Sport to take the next step in their football careers overseas.
The standard of players on trial was high with Coach Robertson commenting on the abundance of natural talent that was on show, “I was very impressed with both the physical and technical qualities of the players attending the scouting sessions today, it is clear that there are many talented players in Africa all of which can flourish and make it professionally with the right coaching and right opportunities” he said.
Coach Robertson was joined by his colleague Michael White and Pro Performance Sport Representatives Samuel Ramosoeu (Director), Rene Richards (ex-Kaizer Chiefs & Bafana Bafana), and Calvin Sosibo (ex-Bidvest Wits & Bafana Bafana).
The coaching sessions were the first scouting trips organized by Pro Performance Sport for players represented by the Sports Management Company.
